GAME AND SEASONS

The different animal species found in Argentina are extremely varied; this allows hunters to practice this hunting method. The most important species are: geese ,ducks, partridges, hares, and pigeons. In some areas, there are no hunting restrictions to the two latter species, since they are considered plagues. They can be found in regions were agriculture is performed. Geese emigrate in large groups from the South at the beginning of the winter season. They reach areas in the provinces of Buenos Aires, Rio Negro, La Pampa and Chubut. Hunters will experience unforgettable moments, always escorted by their guide.

In Argentina, different species of ducks can be found in lakes, ponds or islands. Each hunter will be taken to one of those locations at dawn, with his escorting guide to advise him and a retriever dog to help collect the games. Pointing dogs will be used when still-hunting partridges and hares. Pigeon hunting will be performed in the areas where they feed, but not in the places where they sleep. We guarantee over 1,000 shots per day per hunter. La Huerta also offers the possibility of hunting in the nearby private properties. Additionally, you will be able to organize your own hunting agenda, since we have a great variety of hunting programs throughout the country, aiming at satisfying the needs of even the most demanding hunter.
