Having had opportunity to travel to different destination and do some hunting, la huerta proved to be a very special place to enjoy the outdoors, great views, spectaculars sunsets and, of course great hunting! what more con one extr... Duck hunting was unique. Maybe and that is a great maybe - one can find a similar place to do a great duck hunt but i doubt it very much that it can be better than there.
The host (Oliver) was very accommodating as well as the staff their also, made for a wonderful experience, one that i hope i will have the opportunity to do again in the near future. Thanks for the memories that we are taking back with us... Hasta luego y haste la proxima !

la huerta is a true destination al though getting to Argentina is certainly a long hard, the friendly atmosphere, great service, and amazing shooting / scenery really make it worth while.
we were able to get almost 700 doves in one day, i would have done more if not for one of the guns with we brought breaking. not to mention we limited art on ducks that same day.
between 2 people it is certainly a lot of shooting. The scenery every day is really beautiful, particularly the sunsets ; most days the horizon looked like it war on fire made for some great pictures / memories. thanks to oliver and his great staff, this was certainly a trip of a lifetime, and is a memory that i will be able to share with my father for a lifetime.

for adventure and fine food, LA HUERTA is the place to go. for an average shooter as i am, fifteen to twenty five ducks per morning made a lot of fun. the ducks are non migrating but the waters of the Parana River provide a wide area to hunt. the dove shooting is fast and furious with the evening hunt, about 100 to 150 doves per day was normal. the guides are great (they tied my booth laces too). the food was delicious and i only gained 1 kilo in 6 days. the shore lunch while fishing for dorado was indeed a highlight. Thank you for a wonderful time
